I liked Mr Benn - David McKee also wrote 'Not Now, Bernard' and 'The Conquerors', amongst other children's books. A great author.
Xrh 'Well it's not us !'. (Is that the 'royal us'?)

Could be a Yorkshire "us" jo anne.
As in, "We were having us tea."
The gibbet beckons.

A Yorkshire 'us' is still plural though, Dostaf.
I have to confess, I first joined ww as 'Olive Oil' - but I never posted under that username.
I discovered, in time, the name is spelt 'Olive Oyl'.

Replied: 6th Dec 2011 at 14:52
Maybe, but I was thinking more of that Balthasar chap who visits here. A formidable tank gunner you know.

I have posted a handwritten note, special delivery, stating that a DNA test ought to be done as soon as is humanely possible.
Can't have the poor creature suffering from such an horrific disease.

I didn't drag this owd thread up to get posts about Emmerdale spoiling it.
And what's more, spoiling the surprise about yon babby.
Replied: 6th Dec 2011 at 19:24
Not sure, Mac, I don't watch it all that much. I just heard that she had an abnormality with her bone marrow.
Replied: 6th Dec 2011 at 19:25
One or two (well, one) abnormalities post on here...Maybe they have matching DNA?
Replied: 6th Dec 2011 at 19:27
"spoiling the surprise about yon babby."
Surprise! Nay, nay, you can read into the story lines of these daft shows even if you don't watch ithem from one month to the next.
